The doctors at Emerald City Naturopathic Clinic are not contracted with insurance companies. After five years as a contracted provider with a major insurer, we concluded that fitting into the insurance box was an impediment to providing optimal patient care. Naturopathic medicine is most effective when a full range of treatments can be employed- when your doctor can choose from all the therapies available and customize a treatment plan for you according to your specific medical picture, rather than according to what insurance will cover.
Emerald City Naturopathic Clinic does bill the following insurance claims: PIP accident claims and L&I claims. For all other medical services, full payment for all charges is required at the time of service, by cash, check or Visa or Mastercard.
If you have insurance coverage and you wish to submit a bill to request reimbursement for services received here, we will gladly provide a ‘superbill’ at the time of your visit. For details about our fees and payment policies, click here.
